Le Tripot - Reservar uma mesa

On the Grand Rue in Mont Saint Michel.....we tried to get away from the crowds and avoided stopping at any of the restaurants or cafes you encounter upon entering Mont Saint Michel. Finally, we hit upon Le Tripot. We were directed upstairs where we had a seat at the window overlooking the Grand Rue....very medieval. We both ordered the ham panini which seems simple, but served hot with the cheese oozing out. Topped it off with the yellow potato French fries and we had a filling lunch which gave us energy to get back on the street and fight the crowds up to the top of the fortress.

First trip to Mont saint Michele and by time got there needing a bite to eat. The whole place was very busy but a couple of minuets walk inside the walls on the left hand side was Brasserie Le Tripot. Upstairs in a window seat gave an interesting view and a nice breeze on a very warm day. Sandwich of Ham cheese tomato was very nicely pressented and very tasty at a very reasonable price, as was the beer.

Todo lleno de gente, lloviendo, las niñas con hambre... Bocadillos tristes, servicio regular ...Creo que aunque el pueblo esté siempre lleno la calidad de los restaurantes la podrían mejorar.

We stayed for lunch and despite the crowded restaurant, they were very nice with us, quick and courteous. We were tired, thirsty and hungry, and helped us with their kindness. .
