Le Truc Bidule - Reservar uma mesa

We came here without a reservation just before opening and the staff could not have been more helpful. They found us their last spare table and were very helpful when asking for recommendations. They also spoke very good English and helped so fill in the...gaps in our knowledge of French food vocabulary. I had the tartine whereas my husband had the hamburger. Both were very reasonably priced and the portions were huge! The wine was excellent, as was the service. Unfortunately we did not have room for desserts. I would highly recommend this place as the food is excellent, just make sure you book in advance.

I visited here on the recommendation of fellow tripadvisor reviewers. I was disappointed with the food. The goats cheese spring roll was bland and the salad was tired. I felt the duck lacked flavour and they would benefit from infecting passion into the cuisine. The...service was friendly and efficient and it had a good atmosphere but they're missing that vital third element that makes for a number restaurant: the food. My advice, be skeptical of number one places.

The food was great, there is a lot of choice and everything is fresh and different. It is kind of a tapas concept, where you choose multiple small dishes. The service was good and the people very friendly (they also speak English very well)! We...even got a rum shot at the end as a local tradition. Be sure to check this out for a uniquely local, delicious and cozy restaurant!

We just stumbled on this restaurant by chance. We had the best meal out we have had for years! The steak was perfectly cooked, portions just right. We both had lemon meringue pie after and that was very good. The owner does the waiting himself,...is very welcoming and efficient. The menu was limited but the host explained that he is planning to extend the range of options.

This is the restaurant one needs to visit when in St Cast. The dishes are elaborate yet beautifully executed and full of the right flavours. Service is very friendly. No surprise Truc Bidule is the top rated restaurant in the resort. Highly recommended.
