Le Vent de Mer - Reservar uma mesa

We were the first people in the restaurant for dinner and opted for the set menu consisting of 3 courses (with an optional boule of alcoholic sorbet) for €25 each. Both starters the salmon and the Tartelette cotentinoise (a cheesy pastry) were very well presented and tasted lovely. The fish of the day merlu (hake) was fabulously presented and complimented by the potato cake, garnishes and cooked tomato, in itself the fish was lovely clearly fresh and cooked nearly perfectly. The deserts were good and cajoled by the fruit garnishes and sauces. I have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions over several years. Always a good final stop before the boat home. On the last 2 occasions the service has been EXTREMELY poor. On our most recent visit our party of 5 arrived at 7.20 pm were the first there. We left at 11 pm having had very long waits for everything. No explanation or apology was given throughout. My wife's meal was in edible . It was a kind of minced whire fish with andouille and fruit. a complete failure . The moule/ frites were fine but overall a very forgettable experience. It was also not inexpensive. Alas it was our last visit. You can only give so many chances and waste so much money. How can they expect to stay in...

Once again we really enjoyed our delicious lunch at Le Vent de Mer, top class. Lovely staff and wonderful food,thank you. Makes our local eateries in Dorset look very second rate sorry but it’s true . Going to have an afternoon nap now!!!!!

It is a relaxed place so slower service but well worth the wait. The staff are friendly and the food was superb. We come here a handful of times a year and always love it. The apres walk on a beautiful beach helps! Can’t wait to return

excellent food was really enjoying it untill the female waitress was extremely rude to us all. horrible behaviour will never return. Not child friendly at all
