Le Vinois - Reservar uma mesa

Exceptional service and hospitality from Eva who together with her husband took over this charming hotel and restaurant in 2021. Set in a small village near to Cahors the rooms are simple and spotlessly clean with good bathrooms. A delicious breakfast is provided in the gorgeous Loft room overlooking the village and lake where there is a large seating area and lots of information on what to see and do in this fascinating region. The swimming pool was a wonderful addition as was the list of recommended restaurants available for the days theirs is not open. The first thing to mention is that this hotel /restaurant is under new ownership. Ignore all previous reviews more than 8 months old. We had a fabulous welcome from the owner, introduced to the staff and shown to our very comfortable rooms. There has clearly been extensive renovations to the property which has resulted in a very stylish, yet relaxed atmosphere. Dinner was exceptional. Multi lingual friendly staff. Fixed price or a la carte options, presented beautifully. A visit from the owner/chef after dinner was a wonderful touch. Do not hesitate to book this hotel. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Finally we fond a good restaurant in the Lot region. Excellent 3-cours dinner for a reasonable price. The dessert was the best part of the meal, it's not for nothing that they ask you to order that at the beginning of the meal so that they have time to prepare. We sat outside on the terrace, not really posh but just fine. This is the type of food I was looking for! The wine list is not very extensive, but bog enough, especially when it comes to the local wines. We had a great one! Service was good, though they did make some (minor) mistakes. Well.... when the food is good, who cares?

Very impressed by the hospitality and also the confort and service we had during our stay ! Food was amazing and unique with a Asian touch to the french classic cuisine of Cahors using local ingredients. The room are comfortable and the swimming pool made it even more special for our family!! Cahors region as a lot of charm and Thomas and Eva made sure we visited the most charming place during our stay !! Highly recommend

Fantastic food with great staff and good value. All very clean and new. The whole village seems to have had a makeover and is lovely
