L'Ecoelle - Reservar uma mesa

I have now been twice, the first time, over Christmas, we arrived just as the kitchen was closing with 2 hungry children fresh off the slopes and the owners/managers could not have been kinder clearing a space for us (they were obviously on the back end of a very busy lunch and confirming that whilst the kitchen was closed for the full menu they could offer us the pizza menu (which suited the girls just fine! . The pizza was fabulous but it was the friendly service that made this visit extra special and so I recommended L'Ecoelle to my colleagues for our ski trip in January (a group of 30 and we booked for dinner on a Friday night. Whilst I don't think our group is difficult, we are no doubt...

Visited this restaurant/pizzeria several times and the overall impression is quite good. They have good pizzas (especially l'Ecoelle and all the traditional local food (tartiflette, raclette, etc. . The duck breast was this time done very raw (despite asking for a medium . But this time we were there with a vegetarian who had an option either to eat a veggy pizza or a veggy burger, no fish, no nothing else. The burger was so so apparently... The kids were disappointed the most as they did not receive the plush mascot that was promised to them as part of the kids' menu. Not to mention that it did find its place into the bill, even though we noticed only later. My advice read the bills careful...

We visites the restaurant for dinner and ordered calzone, carbonara, pizza and burger. The calzone was not well hot as the cheese and all ingedients have not even melted. We asked them to warm it up a bit more but this was a proof that everything is ready in advance. The rest of food was ok but nothing special. However, they offer a big variety of food options. We also ordered a crepe which had little nutella inside. Overall it was an ok choice but nothing exceptional.

Stumbled across this restaurant on my family vacation. The customer service was very personable and family oriented. The portions of the food were just as perfect as the quality of the food. My favorite dish that I have to recommend is the raclette! They had no issues giving more potatoes when needed and the side salad was perfect! They also had the cutest café gourmand which was also a personal favorite of mine! Definitely stop by L’ecoelle on your next trip!

Had the medallions with blue cheese sauce...superb...wine reasonably priced as well....we come every year from Cornwall England...love it
