Title says it all really. Attended for a family meal and once seated, it took a while to order 3 different dishes. I had a burger which was fabulous. Both other meals delicious. However on finishing our meal, we sat and watched a table of 4 finish, get cleared, order and receive desserts. Then a second table of 2 likewise. After some 20 minutes, I eventually had to waylay the waitress and ask her to clear our table, by which time we were no longer in the mood for deserts. It was quite clear that although the staff present were competent and doing their best, there were nowhere near enough staff to cope with the volume of customers. Déçue… Venue en Octobre avec ma fille et mon époux, leurs salades étaient tellement belles que j’en avais presque regretté mes moules…alors là j’ai voulu moi aussi ma salade, surtout en juillet ..Qu’elle déception rien à voir…. Une salade César trop chère pour ce qu’il y a dans l’assiette…Pas de fromage çà peut arriver d’oublier mais bon, le serveur ni souriant ni agréable,m’en a rapporté après réclamation.. à 16,50 euros la salade j’aurais vraiment apprécié de vrais croûtons…. petits croûtons industriels Mon fils a pris une cocotte de rognons de bœuf qui n’avait pas vraiment de goût….un burger une pizza 2 salade cesar et une salade Océane mal assaisonnée puisque notre ami a demandé un peu...
There are plenty of tables outside the restaurant but we chose to eat inside as there was the threat of rain. The staff were very good and spoke good English. The menu has a lot of variety including pizza, mussels and burgers as well as a variety of other meat and fish dishes. I had the Gourmand burger. It was probably the best burger I’ve ever had. I certainly have never previously had one topped with foie gras and containing smoked duck rather than bacon before. It was cooked perfectly and the portions were very big. Overall a poor experience. Drinks took forever to arrive, whilst we weren’t in a hurry it would have been good to have the aperitif before the food arrived. The snails were average, pretty tasteless though. The charcuterie board was ok but served with toast and no nice pickles or anything with it. The moules were less than average and my steak was stone cold, so I sent it back and because the new one was cooked quickly and not rested, it was tough. Service was poor and inattentive. I guess it’s in the middle of the square so our expectations were not particularly high but it failed to meet even low expectations. Disappointing and would not return. Reserve uma mesa agora
our hotel recommended L’Edito as a good restaurant choice close to a Sunday evening when most places were closed. we had a delicious dinner escargots for me fois gras for my man with escapes and coquilles st. jacques. the champagne was good and the pommerol divine. many local eat. with the extensive wine list and menu there is something for everyone. nice friendly service and an attractive interieur. would definitely recommend.
Stopped here for dinner, chosen at random as we liked the look of the menu. The staff were absolutely lovely, our French is fairly basic once they realised this they kindly spoke to us in English, they were very kind and really looked after us without making us feel fussed over. The food was very good, can recommend the profiteroles!!!
