Title says it all really. Attended for a family meal and once seated, it took a while to order 3 different dishes. I had a burger which was fabulous. Both other meals delicious. However on finishing our meal, we sat and watched a table of 4 finish, get cleared, order and receive desserts. Then a second table of 2 likewise. After some 20 minutes, I eventually had to waylay the waitress and ask her to clear our table, by which time we were no longer in the mood for deserts. It was quite clear that although the staff present were competent and doing their best, there were nowhere near enough staff to cope with the volume of customers. Our hotel recommended L’Edito as a good restaurant choice nearby for a Sunday evening when most places were closed. We had a delicious dinner escargots for me fois gras for my husband with entrees of duck and coquilles St. Jacques. The champagne was good and the Pommerol divine. Lots of locals dining. With the extensive wine list and menu, there is something for everyone. Nice friendly service and an attractive interior. Would definitely recommend.
We ate lunch outside. The place seemed popular with local business people and the pizzas looked really good. We had a salad, which was good we saw many people leaving food on their plates and we ended up doing the same as portions were huge. Service was friendly and overall we had a good experience.
