"Dropped by on the off chance and, yes, there was our favourite, a dish of figs with gorgonzola and Bayonne ham. Simply lovely. It,s a shop offering light lunches. The furniture and artefacts are all for sale. It's romantic/rustic in style. At least it has a strong identity and you know you're in France.! The owner is an enthusiastic cheerful lady. A very nice place to be for a light lunch."

We dropped in for lunch to this shop/ Salon de The and sat in the courtyard. There was a choice of three starters, 3 mains and three desserts. We chose the vegetable gratin with a glass each of rose. The wine and water were quickly served and whilst our food was cooking we were given green olive tapenade and toast. Then our mains arrived, a steaming hot dish with the gratin in plus tabouleh, grated carrot and tomatoes. It was delicious, the only issue i had, I was hungry and had to wait for it to cool! We followed this with coffee. This all came to €34.The food was very tasty, beautifully presented and service excellent. All this in a quirky little courtyard in a shop. When we asked about the...

We had a super lunch of figs with Gorgonzola, walnuts and Bayonne ham, the cooking finished off under the grill. There was a small carrot salad and some couscous as an accompaniment. The warm dish was delicious, the house wine OK. The owner is charming, welcoming and enthusiastic. It's been open for 5 years, but this was our first visit. We will become regulars! Food is served in the very sheltered courtyard and all the furniture and effects are for sale. There are also a couple of rooms with decorative items for the house and garden. A pleasant opportunity to browse while the food is being organised. The salon de thé is open most of the year, but closed for two months in the winter.

Went for a meal and a concert. Had booked our table in advance, calling in person to made the reservation as there were friends of ours playing in the band that night. On arrival it turned out that our booking had not been written down, but they recongnised us and apologised. This meant that the restaurent was overbooked and we were crampled up a corner. Food was average but service was very slow as there was not enough staff to cope with the numbers of tables - as it was booking- only then extra staff should have been employed. Probably better place to visit out of season.

We only stopped for a cup of tea here but it was one of the most memorable holiday moments I have experienced. A truly relaxing place where one could spend many a happy moment dreaming, relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The tea was served in a French Provencal teapot and cup and saucer and the little courtyard was just beautiful. We were sorry to miss eating here but food is not served on Sunday or Monday and we had already made arrangements for other days. The owner is lovely and friendly. I highly recommend.
