This place has recently opened, and I've been by twice now to try their food. Overall, it's above average food. The brisket, pulled pork, and sausage are all fantastic. Their fries are also great, as are their sauces. The lil' smokies are just alright, and the chicken that we received was fairly pink inside (which was disappointing). Aside from the fries, the sides (cornbread, Mac and cheese, and beans) were a bit disappointing as well. Both times I've been in the the building, all the employees have been masked. Pickup service is great and easy. 4 stars as they're brand new and probably still ironing out some kinks in the service (chicken, sides). I will definitely continue to order from he...
We got takeout from them the other night and we're so happy to have found them! In these Covid times you're just so grateful to have something new and good in your life. : We had pulled pork and brisket sandwiches with Main St sauce and it was all DELICIOUS. Smoky, tender, a touch of sweetness. Great crispy fries and nice dollop of creamy-tart cole slaw. We got a side of fried brussel sprouts too which were instantly addictive. Everyone inside was wearing masks and our order was ready on time, so I was in and out with my pickup very quickly. Congratulations to Legacy for opening during such a tough time, and I hope it's a lasting success.
My first and second experience here were both great! Inside everyone was friendly, happy, all wearing masks and food was to die for! Ashley and Zach have done such an amazing job starting a business as such a hard time! Legacy is definitely a hit in my book! I will be a repeat customer for sure!
I have tried (as far as) the smokehouse plate and also the gf mac and cheese with smoked truthahn all really good! the plate with perhaps an additional side seems like a good amount for 2, as well as the mac and cheese ... would recommend to anyone who likes this type of tariff.
