Lehman's Orchard Brewery Farmhouse

Yesterday we stopped in on a whim after visiting Flowers by Anna, and waiting to eat at another restaurant.....the person knew we were just biding time with the drinks we ordered, but she sat and talked to us about the history, etc., of the place. Very nice, and we then went on to Lowery's still biding time til 4. Love that store, also, .....I guess I'm writing this because now we wish we would have stayed and eaten at Lehman's, because the restaurant we were biding time for was not as wonderful as we thought it would be. So if you are visiting Buchanan visit Flowers by Anna, the grocery store and then stop at Lehman's for a beer and lunch.

Stopped in for a brew and we were delighted by the BlackBerry porter, and the cherry brandy. Our dinner plans fell through and we decided to eat at the brewery. I had the nacho chicken sandwich which wasn't bad. My side was the mac and cheese topped with brisket. He had the pork brisket and beer cheese soup which were stellar!

I had the brisket sandwich and it is hands down the best brisket I've ever had. Although I didn't drink I did have the peach soda and it was very good. It is a little noisy with a crowd in the eating area, very echoy. My boyfriend had 2 ciders and he did rate them high. Service was awesome. Will definitely be back.

What a treasure in our small town! Love the wine and beer selection, dried fruits and snacks, and homegrown goodies. Authentic items at great prices and a great stop for gifts for visitors and locals. Thanks for coming to Buchanan!

The food was delicious as was the beer I tried. Love that you can buy their fresh handmade Goods. Hopefully they have an outside patio area in the works. Being by the creek, that would be awesome!
