L'Embarcadère - Reservar uma mesa

We pre-booked this restaurant for a lunchtime meal and therefore were able to reserve a table on the terrace. It's a lovely setting which really enhances the atmosphere. We opted for the Menu du Marché which seems to change daily. Our choices were delicious and...we came away feeling very satisfied. The mainly young staff were all lovely and helpful and our overall experience was excellent.

I have tasted the chicken of Bresse the speciality of the restaurant Even covered by the sauce, it was dry and really not tasty. what's a pity!!!! In addition, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was tense among the waiters. Honestly, despite a very nice location,...I would not recommend the restaurant even it is supposed to be supported by a very famous cooker!

The vegetarian food was disappointing. They offered to make me a omelet for dinner, really an omelet? I ended up with smashed potatoes and a tiny bit of ratatouille, which was okay. In every restaurant should have multiple vegetarian options. The staff was nice...but the fact that they ran up and down the terrace was stressful for the guests and unnecessary.

I loved it and will definitely go back. Combination of lovely smily staff, with great taste of food and the best view to amazing sunset made my experience memorable.

Overlooking the Saone River, this is a perfect location for a relaxing meal. Diverse menu of delicious local foods and a great wine selection too.
