In fairness the food is nice. It’s burgers, pizza and chips for the most part which was great for my kids, and the food was very tasty and well presented.... but.... They are totally un equipped to handle the amount of people who go in on market day. Looooong wait even for drinks. ONE high chair in the restaurant (which is very big and seats a lot of people) and even worse ONE toilet for about 200 people. If the wait for service doesn’t kill you, the wait for the one toilet cubicle will. And it’s not even a nice toilet.

How is it possible that this place gets 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor? The food is underwhelming (anemic salmon, bland cassoulet, boring burgers) and the service slow beyond belief. I added a star because it is a welcoming place and our server was nice.

This place gets busy so you need to get in early. The food is tasty and the menu is decent. The price is reasonable too. The staff are friendly and the service is good for how busy it is.

Expensive compared to the quality of food. Sloppy service. Too many smokers around the table. Definitely this is NOT the best place to eat in Sarlat.
