Les Bons Enfants - Reservar uma mesa

This restaurant has changed hands several times in the last 20years that we have been coming to le lot.its a good place to stop if visiting castle bonaguil.the menu is a littke pricey but think of it like you are paying to sit under the shade with a superb vue of the castle.The food is plentiful and tasty and well prepared using foodstuffs from the local area but service is a bit frantic and lacks that special touch

Food perfectly fine (except crepes, see below) but the service was dreadful. We waited nearly an hour for food. We were told it was because they were busy but the restaurant was only half full. Waitress kept disappearing. Says it's a creperie but serves sweet crepes only which arrived eventually cold and congealed. Rest of menu fine.

We visited on Saturday 18th October and there was plenty of space outside when we arrived at 1pm. Our order was taken reasonably quickly. It was good to see the waitress going into the kitchen garden to pick fresh nasturtium flowers for the salads. We did not have to wait too long for our food which was excellent.

The set menu is very good value and the children loved the Pizza's. The service is very friendly and the owner is a real character. Located at the base of the Chateau Bonaguil in a relaxed atmosphere I would certainly visit again.

Nice place for a lunch and drink. A bit for tourists but friendly service. Nice animals for the children and a good choice in everything.
