Les Boucaniers - Reservar uma mesa

We (family of 5, children 5, 9 and 11) arrived here for lunch the day after we had arrived after a long drive from the UK, none of us having eaten a proper meal since the day before we left home and we were starving, to be told that there were no tables available (there WERE some empty tables) and that we needed a reservation. So we booked a table to return for dinner the following evening as the restaurant was right next door to our campsite, so very convenient. I am glad we did, for the food was fabulous, the children all loved their meals and so did we, the steak was great and the desserts were sublime! We were sent away... My parents arrived before me and made the mistake of sitting down before being assigned a table. When I arrived they had been sitting there for a while and were being ignored by the two waiters. I went in to ask for a table and tried to explain we were already seated (I speak French). The lady interrupted me and said they were full (they were not). I went to my parents to tell them, the lady showed up again and said: "who gave you this table? No one. You have no reservation, we are full".Rude.

This is a wonderful restaurant directly located on the beach. The view is stunningly beautiful and the food is great. They offer wonder French food in addition to French Caribbean food which is why I go there all the time. Be sure to make a reservation as it can get busy during the tourist season.
