Les Gas de Nevez - Reservar uma mesa

Tried the nearby Creperie, fully booked!!! So we tried here. I won 't go as far as to say rude....the boss???, was preoccupied with, well anything really. The young waitresses were literally running to keep up with tables. The food was good, portion sizes fair. The main issue was the boss and others were smoking at a 'popup ' smoking table near the doors, the smoke regularly wafted over to where everyone was eating, as an ex smoker I detest the smell. As said the food was good, think more staff required, prices average. Would we go again, probably not, probably book for the Creperie.

I had moules frites mussels themselves quite tasty and fresh, but the liquor was thin, watery and tasteless. My partner went for fish and chips the fish looked as if it had come out of the frozen cabinet at the supermarket, and reheated at that. The tartare sauce had a skin on it as if it had been sitting around all day. We paid 35euros for the pleasure, including two beers. We won't be going back. The young waitresses were doing their best on a busy evening though well done to them.

A bit of a mixed experience, some food was ok but the selection of hot drinks was poor and the staff weren't particularly welcoming. The order was a complete shambles and we gave up on a few items which never arrived. May just have been a bad day, and the language barrier never helps. But we had no issues relying on my mediocre French in any of the other cafes we visited, so I wouldn't go back.

Surly owner, mediocre food, won't ever go back and would advise others not to bother. I had the fish, not bad, my wife had chicken which was dry and less appetizing than the excuse for pommes frites. Complacent attitude.

Came in for a lunch on our family holiday. 2 children in tow (5 and 8) and enjoyed a lovely meal. Muscles were super and kids menu was lovely.
