new to the faou : recovery of an institution! already bravo to have finally stripped the facade of his Christmas garlands and other panels/slates/menus that overloaded the terrace unnecessarily and gave a feeling of poorness. the restaurant has made the choice of little but fresh and a priori renewed according to the market what is really more interesting and so much more current!. fish dishes and seafood, in finistère too, this is what had to be done. a 4 guests, we finally tasted everything. dishes are good and with a small touch of modernity, for example in sauces, quite appreciable. the service is friendly, benevolent and a little bit long but we understand for a start. here no map but slate suggestions, what a good idea! the guarantee of a fresh and very hearty meal! It's rare! I loved the chef's kitchen! bravo. fresh and seasonal products, a mix of flavours from the market, a pure treat! The artichokes gratinated a delight! the bavette and its excellent roquefort sauce and dessert. Then the desert. this whipped cream, meringue and red fruit. A murder! I highly recommend! Thank you to the chief for coming to see us in the room, class! and as suggestions vary every day with a good value for money, I return to it tomorrow to taste new inspirations from the chef. in this restaurant there is no menu. only a map that evolves with arrivals, markets and seasons. the 6 clams I ate in the entrance were excellent but 6 clams hold in 1 tablespoon which makes very little for an entrance. Then the fish gratin (which was not gratined but grilled) was good. I didn't take dessert, the ones I offered didn't like. balance: positive side flavors, rather negative on the ratio quantity /price. a menu would be welcome in addition to the map.
