Les Pieds dans l'Eau

Truly delicious food served by competent and friendly staff in a calm and very pleasant setting. Off the beaten track, this gem could be missed but it is well worth it. Don”t forget to book your table in advance. There are only 8 tables and they are deservedly booked in advance. The menu is simple and limited but the chef is excellent and the local produce is beautifully cooked and presented. This is NOT a burger joint and there were no fries that I could see. This is “cuisine”. Enjoy!!

Visited recently again and as ever was not disappointed. I am however disappointed to hear that the owners are leaving to set up another restaurant in St Malo. They promise me the new owners will be equally as good and have the same high standards. I look forward to giving this a try under its new management. Good luck Aunine and Herve Mousset in your new venture. What you did at La Pieds dans L'eau was nothing sort of amazing.

We were taken by French friends who know their restaurants. A small restaurant but very good food and a comprehensive wine list. Service was also good. WE could not get a weekend booking so try early. It was not warmth enough to sit outside but in warmer weather it would have been delightful

Had an amazing meal in this very classy restraunt in beautiful surroundings. Service and presentation was fantastic food was incredible, so tasty will definitely eat here again,

Beautiful setting and great food. We had a lovely evening and were well.looked after by attentive staff. The food was fantastic and really good value. Well recommended.
