La Brasserie'sfriendly new owners have transformed the quality of this long established restaurant. The cooking is superb we've been twice recently and each time every single item was made from scratch, from the salad dressings to the desserts. They take no short cuts. I had Chicken Caesar Salad: the chicken was freshly roasted, the hardboiled eggs just slightly gooey it was delicious. We had steak last time the chef had it perfectly. And if you ask for mayo with the chips, it's home made. And then the fresh chocolate mousse and an apricot dessert. Excellent fresh food, beautifully presented with friendly service. Look at this lovely dessert...carpaccio of pineapple, who thought if that one. Enjoy your meal.
