Surrounded by mountains, just outside the mediaeval walls of St.Crépin, this place is a real find.The vaulted restaurant is spectacular, and a warm welcome and smiling service from la patronne...and the food is excellent,fine ingredients but not too fussy. Tempted by the course...menu, we succumbed to the (given the reasonable price of the room..see later .lobster tail on a salad of multi coloured cauliflower or foie gras with artichoke purée ,then ox cheek with truffle or crispy saddle of rabbit with spiced aubergine purée, followed by chocolate and liquorice or creamy caramel desserts, indescribably good. I am very fortunate to be able to eat at good restaurants all over the world with my job but I haven’t come across a meal this good in a long time. We went for the ‘surprise menu’ and surprise it did. Some of the...flavour combinations were sublime, totally unexpected and a joy to the palette. Portion size was excellent and complimented each dish. I am specifically going to come back to this region and eat here again

A must do if you are in the region. Do book if you want a table. Very nice restaurant with good service. Went with for my mother's birthday and tried the surprise menu with wine. It was wonderful. My parents loved it as well. Very...fine but unpretentious cuisine. The room is also worth it, super cute. I highly recommend it. Not a stuffy traditional restaurant.

Cuisine is not surprising, I expect much more from a chef I cook better at home. Nothing special and very poor portions. Far to expensive for what you get, and the wine is very expensive too. Don't go there if you are hungry, neither if...you expect a surprising or special meal.

Excellent in all aspects innovative food, beautifully exposed and delicious. Warm and efficient service in a wonderful setting. The quality/price relation is on top extraordinary.
