L'Espérance - Reservar uma mesa

This fabulous restaurant is just outside Caen and should not be missed. Situated on the lovely canal side, the restaurant is tastefully decorated and we were made most welcome by the staff. The menu changes appropriately with the seasons and is in the chef/owners hands....and...very capable they are too. Delicious melon soup as a little pre starter that's after tasty little things with our aperitifs!the courses were absolutely wonderful,and so beautifully and artfully presented. Lovely to see the chefs at work through the glass.charming staff and such care taken with glassware, cutlery...all a very high standard. Highly recommended

the place is away from the most important sights, but it was worth it. they check the reservation on the day before. we had our table ready. the personal is very nice and professional. the atmosphere is modern and clean. a great glass allows them. to see the kitchen. there were big amouse trees. the dishes were good eating. they were terrified. it was a great meal. at the end the cook came to the table to see what we felt. great action and humble. have found the place.

as a director of the national army museum in london we like to report that a nice lunch was enjoyed by our mozens during a trip to normandie to review operational overlord sites.

we visited the 75th anniversary of the D-Day and happened on this wonderful restaurant. the meals were delicious and the service was wonderful. the best we had on the trip.

beautiful location on the canal right before caching from the route to ferry. Eating and the service is excellent every time we visit.
