Not much to add to previous high score feedbacks. It is indeed very simple place where two ladies do their magic: and Valerie the Chef is exceptional. This bar/bistrot serves a menu which is defined by Valerie herself so, no long several pages menu . But this Menu du Jour is made from fresh products and from heart. Today it was: Salade from vegetables for starter, Catalan meat balls with potatoes in tomato sauce main dish and fried banana with creme and chocolate cake small cut pieces for desert. Janine runs the bar and Valerie does the cooking (with her husband as assistant . We've been here four or five times in the last four months and they always remember us (and our dog! and want to have a good chat. If I were a single person new to the area I'd come here once a week for my dose of homeyness. The three course meal on offer each day is 15 euros now (inflation has hit them too , and it's wonderful value for money.
