The nicest people behind the counter!Ok, I got that out of the way. The last thing I want to do is trash a hard working Italian family business. Last night after Frank Pepe pizza, I wanted to have a little dolce vita so we walked next store to Libby's Italian Pastry Shop. The counter people were helpful. My wife was like a deer in headlights. She looked at all the various pastries and decided on a latte. My sister in law wanted a hot chocolate and my brother in law wanted a black coffee.I'm in my element so I ordered a espresso and a pistachio cannoli. Wow, the inside is quite different from how it looked when I was in college. It used to have an old school Italian vibe inside, with a side dedicated to the espressos. I don't mind the changes and the sleek new look, because it seems like they didn't take anything off the menu. If anything, there's more drink and pastry options. Although some other cannoli flavors were quite tempting- like the Nutella, and the chocolate dipped, I had to go with the original, and a lobster tail for good measure. These are already filled. Very nice staff but the food was so underwhelming. Looked very good but nothing tasted good. Soggy shells for cannoli and San Giuseppe. Artificial tasting fillings. Would not recommend.

Delicious Sfogliatella and Rodeloli cookies. I grew up on her Italian ice cream. I miss the traditional decor and the service is meh.

Too sweet for me. I recommend the cappuccino. The coconut cannoli is also great.
