Libertad Coffee Shop

Libertad Restaurant is one of the best Dominican restaurants in Queens. It is very difficult to find genuine, authentic Dominican cuisine in Queens, otherwise. There was a time when I couldn't decide which Dominican style restaurant was going. Not sure what happened to everyone. We're left with the worst. BUT, fortunately Libertad Restaurant arrived. The food is excellent, they follow my special instructions in the letter, and the service is fast. I will admit that some of the ladies can be a lil snarky. But as a takeout restaurant in Woodhaven we cannot expect a perfect service with a smile. If everything works, it would be customers.

Perhaps the best maduros (fried sweet plantains) I’ve had in New York. Their beef stew on rice and peas is delicious and authentic too, served with chunky pieces of meat and flavorful carrots and rice.

I went here and I have to say that the service was good and the food was nice. I really like the pepper sauce. Also the portion size was good.

Delicious food! Have sat with my wife several times during our 3-day stay in Queens. Very generous with the portions!
