I called in for a light lunch on a Saturday. The first question is how do you get into the coffee shop. the front door was closed so I went down an entry were I could see folk sitting in the coffee shop, eventually I seen a side door and got in. I wasn't the only one to find it hard to gain admission. When you walk in they give you no time to relax and read a menu, but if you get a seat the staff never come near you to take your order as you must go to the counter. There also no menu's on the tables. So I had tea and sandwiches, the tea came very quick it took a further 20 minutes before the sandwiches arrived. To be honest the sandwiches were good, excellent ham but rather expensive at £13....

We ordered three breakfasts at this restaurant, but were disappointed to find that the poached eggs had hard yolks. If a cook cannot properly poach an egg, they should consider resigning. Additionally, our tea and coffee were served 20 minutes before our breakfast arrived, and the toast and eggs were served without butter. We had to ask for it separately. We did mention the issue with the hard yolks to the assistant, who offered to bring properly cooked eggs, but by then we were already halfway through our meal. It was clear that the person who cooked the eggs knew they were overcooked, so why serve them in the first place? Overall, we found this coffee shop to be overrated and lacking in sk...

We stopped by for a quick coffee break at this restaurant. We ordered a bagel with soft cheese and crispy bacon, a ham sandwich, a water, and a cappuccino. We were given a number and directed to our table. After 5 minutes, our water and coffee arrived. However, 15 minutes later, we had to go find our order with no apology for the delay. Despite enjoying the outdoor seating in the sun, we decided to go back inside to order a cold drink and a piece of roulade. Despite being close to the till, we had to wait 7.5 minutes with no apology for the delay. We stopped by for a tea and cake. The tea and cakes were good, but a bit pricey. The coffee was delicious and served in a large cup. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the decor. The back area, which is part of an interior design shop, was poorly done with exposed wires, visible filler, and cheap, dirty plastic plants. They need to improve the space.

Love this little hidden gem! Very friendly staff, relaxing environment and brilliant food! I can't resist the banoffee pie, it's the best I've ever tried!! Also recommend the stew on a cold day, very hearty! I love spending a morning off here and can't wait to get back soon!
