Lilly In The Valley

This place is at the quaint Ferntree Plaza shopping centre in UFTG, around the corner from the chicken joint, towards the external entrance for the chemist and the Ramble On Cafe. Usually lots of parking available out the front. Comfy seating inside at three tables for four to six diners. Anyway, I stopped in here Friday lunchtime to try this soup as a take away (I like something light for lunch, and I like Tom Yum at lunchtime . The soup took less than 7 minutes to do, and it survived the 3km trip home in the car as it was sealed with cling wrap well done. We have been going to Lilly's and ordering takeaway since it opened. Has this business been sold? It used to have the best dumplings around and the meals were always fresh and tasty. Last night we ordered takeaway. I had to spit my dumpling out.It was under cooked and soggy. As we lifted them out of the container, they fell into pieces. The lemon chicken was chewy as if it had been recooked. The rainbow beef dish contained meat that was dry, stringy and tough and the fried rice seemed to have been reheated over and over. it was dry and it contained very little other than the inferior rice. We definitely will not be having anything to do with this restaurant again!

Ordered $100 worth of food from this place for my wife's birthday. What a waste of money ! The rice was undercooked and seemed to be a couple of days old. The honey chicken was tasteless and dry, the dumplings were horrible and had a very thick casing in them. Worst asia/ dumplings in the east and will never eat from here again. Not only was my wife's birthday dinner ruined but I lost $100

We got a takeaway from this restaurant. Nothing had much flavour to it at all. Very bland. I bought it for four people and all of us said the same, so it wasn't just my taste buds being off.

Order never received bit charged for. Restaurant want nothing to do with issue and hung up on me. Keep telling me I received my food and to stop complaining. Such horrible service.
