Lima's Chicken - Reservar uma mesa

I absolutely loved Lima's when they were located in Bowie, so when I realized they had a location in Annapolis, I knew I had to stop in! I popped in on a Monday afternoon and ordered my favorite meal, 1/4 chicken white meat, black beans, fried rice, and mixed veggies. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the restaurant itself was clean and pretty empty. I took my food home and I was eager to dig in, only to be rather unimpressed. It wasn't the same Lima's I was accustomed to. The black beans were extremely bland, like I had to add my own seasonings to even make them edible, but on the other spectrum, the mixed veggies were overly seasoned to the point of being salty. THE GOOD: Awesome food. Always fresh, always affordable, always filling, always delicious.. if you're into rotisserie/charbroiled chicken this is the spot for you. They got more than just chicken too. Seafood options available on their menu but haven't dived that far, I'm a creature of habit. lol. Walk in, browse their menu, place your order, grab your meal and go (or sit and eat at their booths)! Fountain and bottled beverages available. Bathroom too. Fairly spacious dining area with plenty of window seating towards the back.I see the same faces rotate every time I come in here, they're all great people! This place is normally good in the afternoon noon. And I come here all the time and today I order lomo saltado and I was told if I order extra steak that I would have to be charge for two meals which would be 19.50 for extra steak plus 19.50 for the meal it’s self . If the workers in the back didn’t want to make the order and over charge me because they didn’t want to give me what I paid for is outrageous.

food is good, but service is always awful. they are never welcoming and whenever i ask for extra sauce (i intend on paying for it) they are rude and difficult. if you order carry out expect to get one sauce no matter the amount of food you get. if you couldn’t tell by now the sauce is the best part and honestly what makes the food good at all.

Meh chicken is kinda dry, Sauce is mediocre, and salad was terrible, but the pro is customer service is ok
