Little Lucca Sandwich Shop

Asked for a BLT on sourdough bread. Lady waved her hand over the spices and add-ons and I said: Just mayo?. She grabbed the mustard and swallowed that spread on the lower piece and slathered pesto and garlic on the top. Someone spoke for me and said I just wanted Mayo, so the lady took a huge bullet Mayo and tried to cover the whole mustard with Mayo. She then waved her hand over the condiments and add-ons and I just cried my head and said no? so she took the bacon out of the microwave, put it on the bread, closed the sandwich and wrapped it. Where's my salad and tomatoes? I only have a B, no LT? Also, I went out for frustration, but my sandwich was paid by my employee without my knowledge a...

This place is really sweet and perfect for a quick lunch. If there is no line and no one in the line tries to adjust a great order. The sandwich manufacturers are really fast. There is a wide selection of ingredients and hot and cold options. All sandwiches are made in front of you on the line. It is small inside and things can be quickly cramped. The only complaint I have is they use low quality, paper thin, already boiled bacon. I would be willing to pay more for a superior quality bacon cooked in the house. Even decent bacon can be produced in the microwave they have inside.

Pure bliss! We were visiting from out of state and this was the top stop for us. I wasn't ready for how great the sandwiches would be. We got 4 total subs: Italian salami, the tri tip, turkey, and the shrimp (served only Tuesdays and Fridays). I'm still dreaming of them. The Dutch crunch bread was perfect and the ingredients were fresh. The sammies put us in a food coma. Worth the money you pay for them. The garlic sauce is what pulls everything together. Now we're figuring out how to come back. A must if you're visiting the bay area.

Grew up in SF and I?ve never been! Always heard about it but never got around to going. Driving home from Tanforan and saw the little Lucca sign. We had to go! There was a line out the door, it went quickly and everyone was masked. We ordered two sandwiches on fresh Dutch crunch. We got the 3 meat with cheese and a roast beef, both with the garlic sauce. Oh man, it was so good and it was huge!! Can?t wait to go again next time we visit!

This is one of my most favorite places to eat when I come to San Francisco in the world I have to stop by and grab my sandwich first thing the service is very friendly it's a very nice atmosphere and the sandwiches are beyond great if you ever visit San Francisco please make sure you stop by the sandwich shop you will not regret it they have every type of sandwich you can ask for and a very nice portion of meat
