We live just until 90 mins from Cahors but have never visited so planned a trip on a sunny April day pre booking lunch at L’Ô à la Bouche after finding it on Trip Advisor. Really efficient booking system turned into a warm friendly welcome on the day. Excellent choice of menus and prices were very reasonable given the quality of the seating cuisine. The team on the floor, and in the open kitchen, were highly professional knowledgeable. Each dish was presented with flare and matched by great flavours too. We had lunch here, enjoying the lovely menu du'jour. Superb value at 30 euros for 3 courses. Excellent choices and wonderful food. We always combine lunch here with a visit to the stunning town of Cahors which boasts one of the best markets in the South West of France. The service matched the food and the wine list comprises some quality wines at favourable prices
Hard to understand why this restaurant gets a Michelin reference. At arrival they tried to seat us in the most remote corner. We took a full menu, and ended up eating only half of what was put on the table. The staf is friendly but not more than that. Not worth to came back. Be warned.
