In the world of Italian cuisine, it has always been difficult distinguishing oneself. The family-owned Italian restaurant or Bistro has become, unfortunately, somewhat of a cliché. So, it's always refreshing when you encounter an Italian eatery that stands out among the rest. Lo Sfizio does just that. The half-market, half-delicatessen that characterizes this establishment is an atmosphere perfect for casual dining. The food is all freshly prepared and of the utmost quality. Although slightly more expensive than most lunch locales, it is worth it. This is my favourite Italian place in Cologne! During the day, this place is a deli food store and at night they put out tables to serve their guests. Run by an Italian family, this place sells food and cooking equipment for Italian and Mediterranean...dishes. Their choice of home-made fresh pasta is enormous, their wine very tasty. As a couple you usually spend around 50 euros, including a bottle of their house wine. If you're looking for a real Italian experience, this is your place.

€13.90 for a salami pizza and an salad. I hoped the pizza would be the best in the world, what a disappointment! it was much worse than the frozen pizzas of the cheapest brand in the super market. boiled in an electric oven. dry. hard. never comes again. neither my colleagues. they can really sell any pasta or pizza on German, they will eat it. in Italian the place would be empty.

if u are in kola, if u want a panino, go to this place. Original prosciutto imported from Parma, lot of antipasti, good salami, italian drinks, all is perfect. Also if u are italian like me, here u can find all what you need to...cook at home, or for a take away. If you eat there, you feel like in a nice Italian Salumeria and Gastronomia. Its in between a shop and a restaurant. They serve delicious italian food at reasonable prices. Each day, there is a changing special-menu for 7.90 € (mostly pasta or pizza serves with a salad). Try the french lemonade in different tastes along with your menu....Great place!

very impressive dining and attentive service. we had both pasta dishes that were authentic and plentiful. service was fast eating was delicious and very reasonable price. we have eaten more than here and have never been disappointed. highly recommended.

authentic Italian cuisine in a restaurant full of locals! the food was delicious, the service was excellent and very valuable. the hotel is approx. 15 minutes to foot of the dom, but not on all touristic. a really great sound!
