This used to be a lovely restaurant but the service badly lets it down now, new staff who seem uninterested in what they are supposed to be doing and actually come across very rude. A long wait to be seated even though we booked a table and about a 20 minute wait to order, it seemed chaotic even though there was lots of staff. No one checked if everything was ok and they didn’t even bother clearing the plates away or taking our order for dessert. There were lots of people at the bar for a wedding and they were right beside tables with people eating not ideal. Food great, service bland, not a smile to be had. We visited at a quiet time on Saturday lunch service. Got a table easily without booking. Good menu, food was excellent but all the staff look so miserable!!! To top it had10% added as service charge for what?!?! I honestly tip when deserved but this really was put in expected with little done to deserve.
