Lock Stock N' Burgers

I had booked well I advance of my trip to Berwick, I received a confirmation email, albeit my booking wasn’t confirmed until I had heard from the restaurant. I was in Berwick from the Monday, my booking was on the Wednesday, on Tuesday, I was thinking it’s strange they haven’t been in touch, I looked at my booking and realised I had put one digit down on my phone incorrectly, I emailed straight away to explain my mistake. Still nothing from the restaurant, on the Wednesday I walk down for my booking at 7:30 to find the place closed !!!! Why couldn’t they email me to say they wouldn’t be open ? Surely someone monitors emails, really very poor customer service in my view. I obviously can’t rev...

We were unsure where to eat in Berwick upon tweed with my fussy children, and lock stock and burgers was a great choice despite there being a reduced menu, there was plenty of choice for all and they were very accommodating. We had the pbj burger which is peanut butter and jelly which was really flavoursome, fresh patty and great taste overall. The Chinese fries where also a must try, and the fried Mars bar was so good! Friendly service too.

The burger was fantastic and reasonably priced. I would have given this place at least 4 if not 5 out of 5 if it were not for the dog sitting next to our table, watching every mouthful and barking for attention. I am a dog-lover BUT I do not want to eat in a restaurant that allows dogs in. It is very unhygienic and unfortunately I won't be back.

Thank you for fitting us all in at a moment's notice (7 of us! . We had a lovely meal, really enjoyed the burgers, so juicy and tasty. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Superb food. Great quality local ingredients. Highly recommended. The best halloumi fries ever! We couldn’t finish them so the staff obliged with a takeaway box.
