L'Odyssee - Reservar uma mesa

Hi JoeI went to this restaurant in Le Croisic last night which Dad and I had been to lots of times before. Anyway I was very unhappy with the poor service and wrote this on their Facebook page!.I have been to this restaurant many times and have always had great service and food, but last night's experience was dismal. The food was delicious but the service was abysmal. The waitress took my order and brought my drink and nibbles then the pan for my mussel shells, bread and water. I then needed the loo and the waitress saw me get up and head that way, but there was a small queue as only one toilet was working. On returning to my table I found my food sitting there!, I was not very happy about...

We called in here in our last night in Le Croisic and started with an aperitif until the restaurant opened at 7pm. The staff were very friendly and liked the fact that we Brits were always smiling and happy. My husband started with an as dinette of Italian meats with salad and I had goats cheese on toast with salad; I then followed with skate in a beautiful sauce and saffron rice and my husband had the local sausage with frites. To finish I had strawberries and cream and my husband had glacé (he always does) with a bottle if wine the cost was very reasonable. A most enjoyable experience

We sat out the front and reserved for a party of 10. Kids were happy with their Pizzas, we had the Mussels of the house. The sauce was lovely but the food was a little cold when it arrived. The staff were friendly enough. It was OK but I wouldn't go back there are better places to eat close by.

My family and I love this restaurant and have visited many times. They serve great modules frites and carbonara. But my favourite will always be their delicious pizzas with olives! We couldn't ask for more friendly owners and employees.

Nice place and unfussy. Great pizza and decent value. The setting is lovely looking at the ocean too. There are tables inside and outside.
