Walking through Bern with my son, we stopped at Münster garden for an Alpkräuterlemonade, passed the new site for bears replacing the former Bärengraben, mused across the Rosengarten, and walked on the wild side, the more you walk, the lower the prices , said this son of mine... Hoi Des isch mins Lieblings Bar fürs Apero. Nette Leute, gesellige Menschen und das beste der Strassen Märit von dem Haus. (Di u Do). Das Essen ist klein aber sehr fein. Klasse Käse. Tagesgerichte immer ausserordentlich. Gut abgewürzt. Ich als Sous Chef hab nüd bi dem Pris zu verbessern. Gut gemachter Innenhof, mit vielen Sitzplätzen. Modern, Biertisch, Paletten usw. Das Publikum ist um die 40ig, angenehm zurückhaltend und super gesellige Gruppen. Sehr schöne Lokation. Was Anderes halt... Liebe Grüsse Danu

This is a great local initiative as are the other activities in this former fire station. We like the improvised approach to creating a unique and sustained opportunity for locals and their friends. There are local beers and drinks and also food (which we have not yet tried). There is a mini food-and-veges market on Thursday afternoon.

Rustic decor in an old fire station--löschen means to extinguish. Clearly, kitchen, bar, and serving staff are committed to their jobs. Prices are reasonable for Bern. Nice location, stylish but the service is bad. Especially because of the unfriendly boss I will never visit this location again. Laughter is prohibited. As long as the customer is quiet he is tolerated, hospitality does not exist. It's supposed to be a restaurant, not a bar.

the previous firestation was perfectly transformed in a trendy restaurant with delicious food and kind and helpful service staff. happy to find seats for a group at lunchtime to enjoy a delicious meal.
