Lola's Burrito Burger Joint

Total great experience! We started with chips and Queso and of course drinks. The appetizer has NOT dissapoint. The chips were crispy and freshly tasting, the queso ooey gooey and yummy. We dived our traitors in the Queso. My Hubby ordered the Curious George Burrito. I was surprised at his choice because he could be Picky about Burritos, but he wanted something else. It had Plantains in it. He said it was amazing because it helped to balance the Spicy-ness (which he loves anyway). Ain't nothing like some good Mexican food. I've heard this restaurant's name all around and finally got a chance to drop in. We went on a Sunday afternoon so the crowd was minimal and parking was easy to find since the location is in a high traffic area. The customer service was awesome and atmosphere was different. Really like the car hoods painted with murals. I tried one of the famous margaritas I don't recall the name but it's the blue one. ? I would say get at least 2 and what better value than $6.97. We tried the fajita bowl with steak. It was so good ,especially if you're a rice and beans fan like myself. We also got the wet willie...the name don't lie, it's super wet. Huge portions....

So I wanted to visit this place for some time and finally get the chance as my job was still closed from Hurricane Ian. I asked the staff for a recommendation and they proposed the Enchiladas. Nice serving, but very subduing. This seems like a very tinted American version as they think Enchiladas should taste. Enchiladas are one of my favorite dishes. If it's on the menu, I'll order it. Remember when Taco Bell had Enchiritos on her menu (still bitter about breaking it off), which tasted better than that. Enchilada sauce has a very pronounced taste. Bring your big appetite! Lola's is located in one of my favorite areas in the city. So, dining outside was a must (for the people-watching). We went around noon on a Saturday. It wasn't very busy when we arrived, but it was by the time we left around 130pm. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. He was also attentive, checking on us throughout the meal. We started with dessert (because why not). We had the Choco Nachos. I don't normally like churros, but they were so good! The cinnamon, chocolate, and strawberries were a perfect combination. For our meals we had a veggie burrito and a burger with fries. Both were delicious!! The portions here are HUGE! So be prepared...

So I was disappointed...in myself that I couldn't bite the Lolburger too big!! It was great, 2 large patches, cheese sticks, grilled cheese, sauce. It was great. Fries crispy and hot. Also got a beef taco on the side because I have a great appetite. It was all, but filled me!! Defend a great place for lunch.
