L'Olivier de Provence

As the Olivier de Provence was closed for a while, we decided to go back for another (what we believed) good experience... it was not.I made a reservation for two. When we arrived we were asked if we made a reservation and were took away before we even said yes by the maître d'. He sat us right in front of the kitchen window. The waitress, a young woman, came to us with no warmth and little menu knowledge. We ordered the food and wine. She came back got us the wine and forgot the water. She had no energy whatsoever. The carafe of water for 8 FR meal for 600! Family meal for 5 people, the veal chop is good, the vegetarian risotto is fine, the exorbitant price of 600 CHF, two bottles of wine and dessert. The icing on the cake, the waiter charged us 8 CHF for the carafe of water, it’s miserable! The Olivier de Provence has still not regained its former glory.

It's a nice Carouge restaurant, I have been for lunch and dinner. At lunch I had the plat du jour wich was very nice and reasonably priced. Went back for dinner but the food was just average and having chosen from la Carte we ended up paying quite a fortune. The service was nice and efficient.

We went back here as we have all had such good meals, wine and the prices are right. And guess what ? Nothing has changed Thank God!!!Me fish was delicious and my friends pasta and beef were great too. That and the delicious wine just handed us a great mealWell done Sebastien Reserve uma mesa agora

An excellent restaurant in Carouge with a great service. Really happy of our evening. The formule of starters, entree and dessert at a certain price is great and allow you a gastro meal at a reasonable price for Switzerland!

I highly recommend this Carouge restaurant with its old stones setting, staff very attentive to its customers but above all traditional or reinvented, delicious recipes, from starter to dessert. A great gastronomic moment.

Went to this bistro with friends on a Wednesday night and loved the atmosphere and the food. The tomato tartare with burrata is excellent. There are options for vegetarians. Ask if you don't see them.

Nice restaurant with quite a large variety and choice. Personal service, food quality good. Ravioli plate was very large, a little bit too heavy perhaps. The desset plate was a good choice. Reserve uma mesa agora

We had a sole for 2. It was big and delicious, served with excellent vegies and potatoes. 10 out of 10. And there is a real nice ambiance in this place. Thank you.

Excellent service, lovely food and nice atmosphere. It took a bit long to eat as the restaurant was full but overall highly recommended!
