When dining out in Fairfield County, I've always have taken it with a grain of salt. This is attributable to its proximity to New York City; where majority of the talent and service industry resides. It's obviously a magnet for this region, hence CT usually falls short in the hospitality industry. The service and attention at L'Ostal reminds me of the Philadelphia hospitality scene (properly trained and employees focused on long term commitment to owner and standards).
