Lourdes Mexican Food

They have the absolute best Mexican food in Escondido!!! There's a couple of restaurants here and they are top of my list. My favorite meal there is the Carne Asada supreme quesadilla, they have quacamole, sour cream, beans, cheese, and what ever meat of your choice chicken, beef, or Carne asada). Their meat taste fresh and not salty like most Mexican restaurants. Their California burritos and Carne asada fries are awesome. They taste amazing and have fresh tasting vegetables too. Their fries are a little crisper than most so you won't get soggy watery fries with no taste. Loved the crunchy beef tacos and the soup is out of this world. Mexican rice had such a great flavor. My husband had a fish taco and said it was the best he's had. My friend had a combo platter with enchiladas and said it was yummy. Small little intimate place in Escondido I will recommend this place to everyone We come here often as our daughter lives here and we come to visit often from Santa Barbara

Hector and Lourdes ran the best Mexican restaurant. I ate there at least 3 times a week. I worked as a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Tucker and Deanna Tucker. The staff ordered lunch from there at least 3 times or more per week. All there food is so yummy fish tacos, beef burritos, bean and cheese burritos, tres leches cake and flan too. I've said it before and I'll say it again this place is awesome!! The chicken soup is the best around!! Doctor's refer this place for their chicken soup to their ill patients and for good reason. It's loaded with white meat chicken and other ingredients that only add to its flavor. The staff is personable and goes above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is wonderful.

Place is awesome!! We tried a little bit of everything. Ordered Carne asada burrito, carnitas burrito, caldo de pollo (chicken soup)....ALL was . Highly recommend!!
