Lowry's Crab Shack

First time customer. We had crab cake, soft shell crab sandwich and some peeled shrimp. It was 7pm, hardly any other customers and it took 30 mins to get our food. The crab cake was the worst I've ever had! Absolutely no seasoning and was over fried. Soft shell, nothing spectacular, again no seasoning. The fries that came with it were cold. Coleslaw disappointing. Apparently they save all the seasoning for their shrimp. These things were COVERED! Their seasoning is extremely salty! Made the shrimp inedible. Very expensive for subpar food. Do not recommend and will not be returning.

We have written a good review previously but the bad attitude of the owner has changed that. My chicken had been fried with seafood which I do not eat and for not even providing much service, they are just not pleasant. We have spent some money here but will not go back. We love to support family owned restaurants, but they have really gone downhill. Service: Take out

I highly recommend trying the fried chicken, it was absolutely delicious. As for parking, there was plenty of space available and the best part is that it was free! I had no trouble finding a spot in the parking lot. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Lowry's is perhaps one of Loudoun County's best kept secrets for seafood. If you like crabs and shrimp you are not going to do better than Lowry's. There is something about eating seafood on their patio. We love this place and I bet you will too! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Come on, this is a local staple. Great people, good food. Lowry's is exactly what it states, a crab shack (and other assorted seafood and a few non-seafood options). And what a great crab shack it is! I hope they're around for many years to come.
