My husband and I along with two friends are staying in Friestadtand we discovered this lovely bakery with a restaurant and decided to indulge ourselves.Service was excellent the cakes were gorgeous, an excellent selection to choose from, they also sell Belgian style chocolates and a selection tray of small cakes, they also do a Freystadt Bier Cake, the town has it's own brewery I am told that it is a smooth bier as a non alcohol drinker I would not know. Do please visit the bakery in the show case inside there is a two horse drawn carriage made out of white chocolate and must be seen, I can not say how long it will be there, they may well display something else as Christmas gets closer. Immer wieder ein Genuss! Top Konditorei in Freistadt! Das Cafe hat sehr viel Sitzplätze, im Eingangsbereich sehr modern, weiter hinten der Raucherbereich ist schon eher altmodisch eingerichtet, dies stört jedoch bei der guten Qualität überhaupt nicht! Für mich die besten Torten in Freistadt! Es gibt auch eine große Auswahl an Teesorten (eigene Teekarte). Service auch sehr nett und fragt nach ob man noch Wünsche hat! Man kann auch Torten mit nach Hause nehmen und seine lieben zu Hause verwöhnen!
while we visited free city for the day, we enjoyed going through the historic medieval square and found this wonderful bakery, selling delicious cakes and coffee, served from the menu we have learned, also breakfast and light lunch. the service was fast and efficient and my coffee.
