Luckett's Hole In One

I was at the Holiday Inn Express, which is located in the Quality Inn. I asked the office staff about a restaurant recommendation and she said the food at Hole In One is good, but a little expensive. She said Chicken Fired Steak was $28. That was my curiosity and I had to try. I went and sat at the bar where the service was great. I tried the Chicken Fried Steak and this is definitely not your grandmother's chicken steak. It is a middle cut fillet beaten thin, broken and fried. I travel quote a bit and it is always nice to find the hidden gems on the way. The Hole in One will be my way to the restaurant when I'm in the Lufkin area. About as nice of a restaurant as you would expect to find in Lufkin. Really nice in white tablecloths good wine a decent price excellent side salad with an amazing house dressing mustard. Wes is an amazing host. Professional. Explains the menu well. I had a great cabin here of Cali The restaurant us in the same building as the hotel and it is a decent hotel. If you stay here, it's just a walk around the corner to the restaurant and go back when you're done.

This is the first review I have ever published. In service, Lucky and the band set the gold standard. What about the food? Better. Can wait to come back and try the meat. I was too busy with the bastards and the steaks. You get what you pay in this world and Hole in One is the real deal.

Very good service, bar delicate new her stuff, made great old fashion, food was great. I recommend this little cafe when you're in Lufkin, TX.
