Mac Gowans Irish Pub

The person we are renting from recommended McGowans to us . The barman,John, really helpful, chatty. As we were early tired !! I don’t know if it got busier later. We ate there and the food was cooked to order, it was hot and well presented. The shock was the price of a pint , 3.95€, wow , having visited different areas of Spain this was by far the most expensive I’ve ever come across so far. We would return

Family of 5 had a lovely evening…super prawn curry, pork and chicken schnitzel with sauces and lovely chicken wok dish. Well cooked, generous portions nicely presented and the staff very friendly. Nice location. You won’t be disappointed!! Good range of alcoholic drinks too.

Ate there today found fly in my food complained and was told that the fly had landed on my food after they had served it to me clever fly nestled in between lettuce and cucumber before it died.not good customer service or hygiene.

Fami!y of 4 just enjoyed good food, great portion size and happy customers... It was a bit quiet and the trainee waitress could do with some charisma. But overall a very good meal out.

The staff here are welcoming , especially John. His smile makes you feel welcome at this bar. Their Currys are excellent.
