Macduis Speyside Inn

My husband and I have been here a few times on the off-peak season, and it's been great. We even got to have the pub dog eat with us, which I loved! This time, we were here in the summer holidays, and it was mobbed. The staff were brilliant. Even though we had to wait for a table, the staff were keeping us informed that they knew we were waiting, etc, and didn't just ignore us. We had a bit of a wait, which was absolutely fine. When the food came out, it was a large, plateful, and delicious. The staff were very attentive, and even though they were so busy, they still had time to chat back and forth, giving us great customer service. Brilliant place. Was busy when we arrived but by the time we ordered a drink we had our table. Food was delicious. I had a burger and it was cooked perfectly. My friend had chilli and the portion was really big. Chocolate cheesecake for her dessert and sticky toffee pudding for myself and both were thoroughly enjoyed. Staff worked extremely hard as it was busy, but still joked and smiled with the customers.

What a quirky little cracker. Some amazing home cooked food in a cozy and welcoming venue. Almost a 5 star spot but the service was a little chaotic but the staff are friendly and accommodating if a little rushed. I had the chicken curry and it was absolutely delightful! Would not hesitate to try again if I was in the area.

Very friendly and very dog friendly staff. Dog treats and water at the doggie service counter for customers to give to their favourite furry friends.
