MAD was a cause of excited discussion amongst my grandsons, whilst my wife and I were staying with family in Ploeren a few days ago. Two of them had visited, and had also enjoyed lunches at their previous, almost next door, premises. ‘Cool, grandpa’, and ‘Brilliant’, were words used. So we sent the girls to lunch in Arredon, and Grandpa and 3 grandsons went to MAD. It’s not plush, nor luxurious, nor romantic but it’s cool, and people of all ages love it. I had kebab with an Algerian sauce and frites. I thought there was too much to eat, but I enjoyed clearing my plate.
