Madatschen - Reservar uma mesa

I visited the Madatschen twice last week, returning a second time because both the food and the hosts were fabulous. There is a relaxed atmosphere with a traditional feel to the entire experience. The food is authentic and artisan. It is homely yet professional and it is obvious that there is a huge amount of care it what is presented together with sincere pride. The meat is fresh and I would highly recommend both the venison and the lamb main dishes. High quality locally reared/hunted stock. You can’t beat that. Authentic country restaurant 30 minutes walk from Serfaus. Hearty Austrian fare cooked on their wood fired grill. We went twice once for New Years Eve and once on a regular evening. Staff were very welcoming and made a big effort on both evenings. Food was great particularly the local lamb and venison, which they told us was also from a local hunter. Kaiserschmarren for desert was huge and one of the best I’ve tried. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. As a plus the walk from Serfaus offers great views of Serfaus by night and if you have a clear evening the stars are spectacular.

I visited this restaurant last week and had a warm and pleasant experience. The food is very good and the steak is roasted in the middle of the restaurant. Very nice, isn't it ?! The staff is very fast and cheerful!

We had lunch here after a nice walk in the mountains near Serfaus. We sat outside at the terrace with a beautiful view, and enjoyed a nice traditional meals with sausages. Nice place, recommended.

Service was very impolite, can’t recommend to anyone. Food was ok but service experience was something we had never experienced before.
