Made In Rome Organic Gelato

My husband and I loved this place! I gave 4 stars only because they were out of one of the flavors we would’ve wanted- chocolate. The peanut butter was delicious though. I would highly recommend. You can also get a shake and use almond milk, an ice cream, and add in’s (say a banana). My husband told me afterwards that we should come back everyday on out trip. It’s not often waffle cones are vegan so that was exciting for us.

I was in Sarasota for 4 days and I ended up eating here all 4 days in a row! They had so many vegan sorbet flavors along with gelato flavors! My favorites were chocolate, pistachio and coconut. Their waffle cones were also vegan and delicious. Everyday that I went there the staff was super friendly and knowable about what vegan meant. Would highly recommend!

Their vegan gelato is creamy, rich and incredibly fresh. We are impressed every time we go there. I love that their waffle cones dipped in chocolate and sprinkles are also vegan. What a treat! The chocolate is THE BEST of the best, but every flavor is worth trying and eating if you aren't a chocolate addict like I am. Yum. You will be glad you went!

At least 6 vegan flavors when we visited. Chocolate was a dark rich chocolate and was delicious. The waffle cones were advertised as vegan also. They have 3 different milk alternatives to try in shakes also. A bit pricey, 2 waffle cones and a shake with tip was $26

Finally, A place that understands vegans like junk food also… I ordered the peanut butter and chocolate coconut-based gelato, and a coconut milk cappuccino
