The cigar selection isn't extensive, but it's well curated. They allow you to bring your own, if you're an aficionado like many who frequent this place. Classy, laid back atmosphere where a tie isn't out of place and neither are t-shirts. The drinks are amazing and well made (rye old fashioned, trust me). Sit outside when the weather's nice, or inside where the conversation is lively and the people are friendly. UPDATE: This place is still amazing!
Went after the Badger football game on Saturday. This place was a really great time. Bartender was very knowledgeable. One of our cigars wouldn't smoke and they had no problem replacing it with a new one. We ended up leaving to go grab some dinner but then ended up coming back for another round of cigars. Everyone in the bar was relaxing and it was just all around a great time. Will be back!
Absolutely fantastic establishment. Count myself very lucky to have a local cigar bar that I can patronize. Importantly, the service and selection make me feel almost obligated to do so. A well curated, and diverse Scotch list; really all of their whiskey for that matter. Those seeking lighter cocktails fear not. Ginger beer, house mixes, and a solid draft list abound.
I'm pleased to find a spot that still permits indoor smoking. The bartender, Patrick, was incredibly friendly and assisted me in choosing a cigar. The atmosphere has a bit of a dive bar vibe, but it's not unpleasant. The air filtration is effective if you're concerned about the smoke. It's a nice place to relax for a while after dinner. I had a wonderful evening at Maduro. They offer a decent variety of cigars and an impressive selection of whiskeys. The customer service was top-notch, and Rory, the bartender, is fantastic. While the atmosphere has a bit of a dive bar vibe, that adds to its charm. If you're a fan of whiskey and cigars, I highly recommend this place.
Maduro's is consistently a fantastic spot to unwind. The staff is always warm and inviting, and the customers are friendly. If you're looking for a non-judgmental atmosphere to enjoy a cigar, this is the perfect place. If you haven't visited yet, you're definitely missing out!
I visited this bar because of its impressive cigar selection and I was thoroughly impressed! They have an extensive collection of spirits and cigars, along with comfortable couches to relax on. The staff was very helpful and friendly when we asked for recommendations.
