I had never visited Magnolia until my friends invited a group of us to go a way. We went for Happy Hour the week, which was all the other. The waitress asked what I want to drink, and I pointed the $5 drink on the menu. She then asked what kind of vodka I want and began to tell me all the different vodka they had – I chose one and asked that it be a big one. She brought me the drink that was in a glass. It took quite ahile to get the height as I ordered. When I was ready to go, I gave her $6 and she was surprised – she said Oh, do you want the rest of the bill on your card? I was shocked when she gave me the bill for almost $17. I asked what that was for, and she said I chose a vodka. We wen...

Special drinks are never special for Happy Hours. The happy hour drinks are weak and the same price of a normal drink at a regular bar. The appetizers are half price, but the portions are small, so they do not feel reduced. I don't feel like happy hour at all. Food is decent, but not better than many other places I was, including Claim Jumper. While the atmosphere is demanding, chic, and cozy, It is very crowded and small and you often hang hanging sitting in the entrance “hall” and/or fighting with your food on the tiny little tables or box tables they offer.

Depois de verificar as avaliações online, agende um almoço de negócios de última hora. Nós não ficamos desapontados. Desde a provolenta (acho que é esse o nome) e entradas recheadas de camarão até o delicioso filé e a propagação dos pãezinhos, nossa refeição foi deliciosa. O proprietário estava atrás do bar e foi muito flexível. Definitivamente vou voltar na minha próxima visita à área.

this place has a lot of fun drinking and the venue is super cool. it used to be an old school that was during the ban. the appetizers are quite delish, but it is not exactly a place to eat.
