Went here with some friends mid-afternoon after looking for interesting places to visit in La Malbaie. Initially we were very excited for the tour and cocktails, as the place upon arrival was very intriguing, however, there was no English speaking guide when we arrived. We were visiting over Quebec 's Construction Holiday, so understood that they may be short staffed, but would have thought there may have been some sort of self-guided English tour. My husband and I and another couple were spending a few days in La Malbaie. We decided to try La Maison du Bootlegger, and we had a blast! Three people from Montreal joined our table and we quickly became friends. We took a tour of the speakeasy, had a delicious meal (the steak was excellent) and danced the night away in crazy headgear distributed by the staff. Everyone at the Bootlegger was so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommended a visit to this interesting and entertaining spot!

This place is awesome! So rich in history! The food is amazing and the guided tour is great to learn a little history and to see how they did it back in the days!

A must see!! Out of the ordinary and super fun bar !! The band is great shows they love what there doing and the deco of the bar is great ! Not to miss

Has to be the most over priced meal i ever had in my 55 yrs of living and the coldest i ate in any restaurant
