Let me start by saying that I have been enjoying Mali Thai Bistro for many years now. It is a staple of Lee's Summit and my wife and I spend many meals here. Tonight's order was totally underwhelming unfortunately. My wife ordered a chicken Panang Curry, which was still delicious. I ordered a Chicken Pad Ka Prao, which you guessed it, still delicious. That said, we only received one order of rice to split between the two orders. It was a laughable portion to have to share. The best Thai restaurant we were in. Eating is good enough as any decent Thai place, but the service was terrible. They accused us of items that were never served, even though we asked for them. If we have pointed out, no excuses. Instead, we will try to give you a refund. Not something we needed on a Friday night for a hard-working family. It makes sense why this place is always empty on a Friday night.

One of the best authentic Thai restaurants in the southern KC area. I try something new every time and am always pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality. The Panang Curry is an absolute must try. Very recommended.

This is the most authentic Thai restaurant in the city. Very recommended for Thai and Southeast Asian people in the area. Nice and friendly staff, large portions, reasonable price and clean. We keep going there.

The fried egg rolls were the best we ever had, the Tom-Yum soup was so delicious and tasteful. The pad Thai was different from what I had earlier, it wasn't terrible.
