Maloney's Hotel - Reservar uma mesa

Note: I'm only reviewing the pub here, I haven't eaten at the restaurant What can I say...a night out at Maloney's gave me flashbacks to a fond memory around 3 months ago when I was in Brazil. I was in a small town called Paraty, at a club not unlike Maloney's. The drinks were of course completely different and it was much smaller, but what I really went away from that night thinking about was the culture; such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where everyone dances with each other, be it friends or strangers. eat price in general is quite decent, so they can not complain about eating, I am sure for pub food, this place is decent enough! chips served in a bowl with some aloli. was huge. soft, with bacon bits and melted cheese. again quite decent, but this is not fully loaded as they might know and eat somewhere else. fish chips, come standard beer dipped flat head like any other pub meal, served with chips and salat also tartaric acid sauce carving was juicy and tender, then again quite decent. you get what you pay.

the bouncers are ridiculous! a few went in and threw out the man who was not drunk when the woman was the one who was drunk! you have to be clear with your statement! find out who is drunk and who is not! just because they own their club that doesn't mean they can judge all! that is not fair for everyone thanks!

very affordable drinks, 6 dollar guinness pints and cheap jugs. great for a pre-drink session subduing food quality, I do not recommend eating here. history and bland.

very impressed by eating and service here. best pub around the locality. recommended dishes are the $13 rump steak, chicken carving and seafood pasta.
