If you like authentic Asian food especially Malaysian food, this is a place you cannot miss! We were driving from NY to Rhode Island with our kids and relatives from Bangkok. We decided to stop over for lunch along the way and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! To be honest, I was skeptical as I did not find any good (and very pricey) Asian food in NY! Came into the restaurant and met Kim the owner/chef and his whole family who runs this place! Mama chow is an authentic, delicious place for Asian food. Take it from an Asian person. The weekend specials are great ways to spice up the menu- definitely recommend the Hainanese chicken. Some of my other favorites are the Vietnamese pho, pork belly buns and the CKT and the coffee. Mama chow herself is very personable and works very hard to make you feel welcome.Honestly, if there is any review under 1 star, they don’t know good food or what they’re talking about. Highly recommended.

I had the best Vietnamese cuisine for a long time. my favorite part is the personal adjustment of the ramen noodles they offer. they can create your Own-Ramen. it's amazing. I haven't even tried the pho because I prefer to ram. but the small plates, the appetizers. I only have broth and noodles for my daughter for 7 mice and it was the only thing she could tolerate while she was sick. I can't wait to go back. would work here if I could. *che kiss*. trusted food and ingredients. safe.

This is a rare hidden gem in Connecticut, all dishes are both pleasant to the eyes, mouth and nose. The cook is a master of various Asian cuisine. The service is excellent! The place is modern, but a little small. Not great for huge groups. A very busy place.

Authentic Malaysian food hearty portions and lovely staff. Love the mapo tofu. Totally recommend! Bagus!!
